Who We Are
Everglades Community Church is a Christ-centered and Bible-based church in Pembroke Pines, Florida. We are a United Methodist Church congregation.
We are from all over the world, and we enjoy a casual atmosphere, so come as you are.
In other words, we welcome every “whosoever“ who visits every day (including each of us).
“Real, Relevant and Ready to Serve, so that all may know Jesus Christ”
Our purpose:
“A church reaching our community with a focus on families with children and youth.”
Why we exist:
- To celebrate God’s presence, called worship.
- To demonstrate God’s love, through ministry.
- To communicate God’s word, called evangelism.
- To incorporate God’s people into His family, called fellowship.
- To educate God’s people, called discipleship.
Current Goals:
- *Children’s Programming (AWANA and Sunday School)
Relocate to a large venue for AWANA gatherings.
Double in size of volunteers and children. - * Youth
Increased adult leadership
Student led events
Make physical changes to LEC - *Worship
Recruiting core leadership team.
Creating the “buzz” and community through monthly events.
Launch of a new worship service. - *Small Groups
Weekly Invite: Pray over an empty chair.
Monthly leadership: Raising New Small Group Leader by letting s/he lead.
Multiply once a year.
